I. Introduction:
The QB1 single-orifice air vent valve is mainly used on small-diameter pipes with a diameter of φ50-200, serving the purpose of venting air from the pipes to prevent air trapping and air resistance in the pipes. For example, when a water pump loses power, negative pressure may occur in the pipe at any time; the automatic air intake function can protect the safety of the pipe. When it is necessary to discharge gas from the pipe, the air in the pipe enters the valve body cavity under the pressure of water and is discharged through the air vent nozzle. Subsequently, the water in the pipe fills the valve body cavity, causing the float to move upward under the buoyancy of water, blocking the air vent nozzle and achieving self-sealing. During normal operation of the pipe, air in the water is continuously discharged into the upper part of the valve body cavity of the air vent valve under pressure, forcing the float to drop and leave the original sealing position. At this point, air is discharged from the air vent nozzle again, and then the float returns to its original position for self-sealing. Therefore, during normal operation of the air vent valve, the valve is always open, and the float repeats the above action continuously to discharge air.
